  • BMC Website
A full redesign for Berkeley Marine Center

When Berkeley Marine Center wanted a more professional design, clearer marketing message, and improved functionality on their website, they turned  to us, and we were happy to take on the challenge.

The redesign was a coordinated marketing communication effort that saw us revise and rewrite content and reorganize site pages and navigation. We leaned on the powerful and highly flexible CMS, Drupal for the project. The site was launched in January 2025.

A website redesign for Blue Water Foundation

Blue Water Foundation is a non-profit organization that has introduced the joys and challenges of sailing to thousands of Bay Area young people -- many of them disadvantaged and at risk.

Bay Design led the effort to redesign the organization's website, which launched in November 2024. For this project, we chose the Drupal open source framework, creating a content management system that allows volunteers to easily add and edit content.

  • Meisel Law site
A sophisticated site for a law firm

Meisel Law Group is not your average personal injury law firm. Their high level of success is due to the sophistication of both their team, and of their approach.

When Bay Design took on the redesign of their website, we considered the client's many needs and wishes to create a site that is visually sophisticated and able to convey the depth and scope of the firm's services. The site also needed to be multi-lingual (English and Chinese), easy for the client's staff to add and edit content, and easy to navigate within a structure featuring many sections and content categories.

  • CalWEA website
    A Content Management System for a Non-Profit

CaWEA is a non-profit organization that supports the wind energy industry. Like many non-profits, CalWEA needs their website to fulfill critical roles -- serving the group's members and informing the general public. In addition, they need to use staff time and budget as efficiently as possible.

The website and content management system (CMS) Bay Design created for CalWEA allows office staff to easily update content. The site also allows for member-only sections, for member access  to private information and documents.

    We love Drupal, and WordPress!

We love Drupal, but when Industrial Drayage needed a new website, one without complex functionality, we turned to Wordpress for the best value in creating beautiful custom sites. And we made the process easy for our client. Bay Design handled concept, design, development, text and photography -- the whole package.

  • Modern Sailing Website
    A Content-rich Website for a Sailing School

When Modern Sailing School and Club decided to redesign their website, the challenge was improving the structure of the site's many pages, articles, boats, instructors, classes and other critical information. This needed to be done in a way that was easy for site visitors to find, and also easy for staff to implement.

The system we implemented allowed for single entry of most information, and for the site to automatically place the content on the appropriate pages.

The result is one of the most content-rich websites of any sailing school.
